The Fisherman

Beneath the hot sun of Northern Brazil, a fisherman drops his line into waters teeming with fish. On the deck, a basket is brimming with the day's catch, so abundant that even a smiling octopus fishes as well. Ivan Borges works in the woodcut technique, transferring the image to ceramic and framing it for wall display.
