Vrinda Gokhale crafts the beads by hand, creating tightly-rolled tubes of recycled paper, painting them and protecting them with a coat of lacquer. Strung on matching cotton cords, they represent our strength, which is greater when we work together.

To protect the beads, she recommends storing her design in a box by itself.
