Wander in the Woods

Recalling time spent in nature with members of his family, Indian artisan Suresh Pant hand-carves this figurine of sal driftwood. The four family members gather together as they appreciate the beauty of the woods surrounding them. For each unique work, Suresh collects sustainable driftwood from the river near his home, allowing its natural shape to suggest the beauty of the earth.
