Latest Update

?We have had only a little time to work in partnership with Novica, which we greatly appreciate. It has allowed us to work in a more disciplined way and has given us the great opportunity to expand our outlets. To grow and achieve more expansion.

?We have managed to improve our quality in these months, and it has allowed us to fulfill the longing we wanted so much--exposure at an international level. It is a source of pride to share your work with other nations; it gives you the satisfaction and hope that your work is admired in other parts of the world.

?Our elaboration process has not lost its essence. Only now we have a very clear objective: to give the best quality and give a little of ourselves in our pieces. But above all, to share an experience in each one of them. Each of them carries a part of us.

?The biggest challenges have been time; which has allowed us to share our knowledge with people who love jewelry and amber in the same way as much as we do. I don't like teaching very much, but it's another way to learn and to achieve firmness and perseverance in the work you do. It gives you the certainty of transcendence.

?In our town it is very common to work with amber, which is considered a magic stone that helps relieve conditions such as arthritis. It is really magical for us to work under this beautiful mysticism. Each of our designs is inspired by the magic of nature and the charm that surrounds us.

?We are very grateful to you for giving us the opportunity to reach your homes and share each of our products. May a part of these beautiful traditions of our country reach your hands.?

Original Artisan Story

?We are natives of the ?land of amber,' and from a young age I was interested in amber for its history, beauty, and the mystery and familial legacy that surrounds this ancestral resin. We are Jacqueline and Eddy. We are from Simojovel de Allende in the state of Chiapas. A person who was very special to me, our uncle Gabriel, taught us to cut, polish, sand, and, more importantly, fall in love with amber. It was the best thing that has happened to me since I was 14 years old, and I have passed this knowledge on to my husband and children.

?We never took courses in school; we learned everything from the knowledge that my uncle imparted to me. Everything we do, we do with passion and with the pride of representing our state.

?Our principal material is chiapaneco amber. It has a superior hardness, which allows it to be used for crafting and sculpting. It is obtained through the excavation of mines, and the pieces pass directly from the hand of the miner to the hand of the designer.

?We are passionate about designing and creating, so that people are filled with satisfaction to acquire a piece made by us. The most challenging aspect for me is to ensure that my pieces are unique. Our passion comes from creating and expressing our ideas in a piece that can be worn with pride, and from the desire to make people familiar with amber as jewelry, which for me is a marvel of our mother Earth.

?Our goal is to have a big shop where people can appreciate our amber pieces, and to give them the best service and quality, always preserving the heritage and tradition of our state of Chiapas.?
