Sculpted of semiprecious gems, a cockatoo boasts a crest of deep blue sodalite. His calcite body ends in a magnificent green serpentine tail. Cesar Gonzáles creates an exquisite sculpture, crafting the bright eyes from painted glass and the realistic feet from wrought iron. A black onyx beak completes the bird, which perches on a garnet trunk.

Arrived broken
So very disappointing to have the artist's work wasted due to improper packaging. I'm sure this would have been a beautiful sculpture, but it was only wrapped in paper, and arrived broken into 4 different pieces. It made me very sad to be honest, I was looking forward to adding this to my bird collection.

The carving is gorgeous. Very detailed and the stones used are super. My whole family loves it! Well worth the price.
