Ancient Poetry

Isha Jain's exquisite shawl is a wonderful example of traditional Indian textile art. Hand-woven on a traditional loom, the shawl is created from a cotton-silk blend that's typical of chanderi, a fabric originating from a small town of the same name in central India. Designed in rich lapis blue, the shawl features a block-printed pattern, while golden zari thread provides the final shimmering touch.
