Chiapas Diamonds

Petrona Gomez in Mexico crafts this beautiful poncho on a traditional waist loom, the way her mother did before her. The all-cotton poncho features a patterned background in buff and honey, bordered by a striped motif in sky and Caribbean blue. Colorful diamonds form a single row across the front of the poncho.
