Ocean Muse

The ocean waters of the Pacific that caress Guatemala's coast inspire the range of colors on this fabulous shawl. The women weavers of K'amolon K'i K'ojonel dye threads of rayon made from bamboo in shades of dark and light blue, turquoise, dark and light, and green. Then they expertly weave the shawl on a traditional back strap loom.

Please note that although the color scheme is preserved, the order might differ slightly due to the manual dying process.
