First used as ornaments for sacred Christian texts, the Armenian Bird Letter is a medieval art that now adorns thousands of regional artworks. This magnificent calligraphy draws inspiration from nature, featuring birds and leafy motifs in the shape of each letter of the Armenian alphabet.
