Christmas Eggs

Shaped like a hornbill's egg, these ornaments are embellished with diagonal lines spiraling on one side. Samuel Lovi crafts each piece in ceramic according to traditional techniques. Then the eggs are painted to achieve an aged appearance. A rafia hoop and a beaded accent imbues this set with distinct African charm.
