Threads in Wedgwood blue, parchment, and eggshell white are mixed to create harmonious intersecting lines in this men's striped 100% cotton shirt from Luisa Villavicencio. The garment's material is woven by hand on a backstrap loom using recycled denim fibers and cotton grown by Luisa's family on one of the last, if not the only, remaining cotton farms in Guatemala. Several natural colors of cotton are cultivated there. 'People are sometimes surprised to learn that we use no dying process at all, but it's true,' says the artisan. Casual and stylish, the button-up shirt features short sleeves and a breast pocket, with a back yoke and square hem.
