Two cheerful canine dancers waltz to ancient rhythms. Artisans from the Angel Cerón Artisan Association depict the itzcuintli, a cheerful, barkless breed prized by ancient man. Sculpted in clay as funerary offerings, they accompanied their masters in death to aid the soul in crossing rivers of blood along the road of the dead.

Dancing Colima Dogs
Angel Ceron is a true master in sculpting, I have never seen any other Xolos depicted as perfectly as his. His museum replicas are treasures in their own way. I hope to add more of his art to my collection!
