Rr Birds of Armenia

First used as ornaments for sacred Christian texts, the Armenian Bird Letter is a medieval art that now sweetens thousands of regional artworks. This gorgeous calligraphy draws inspiration from nature, featuring birds and leafy motifs in the shape of each letter of the Armenian alphabet. As a way to spread the adorable essence of this ancient art, artisan Karno Davoudian uses 18k gold-plated sterling silver to create this luminous pendant, with birds representing the Armenian letter “Rr,” all in a palette of turquoise, pink and orange hues for a divine style.
